Growth form Epiphyte, pendulous, rooting in basal part, above strongly branched, up to 50 cm high. Rhizome 2-3 mm in diameter. Roots filiform,  up to 8 cm long, filiform, flexible, glabrous.  Stem much branched, erect-patent, cylindrical, proliferously leafed, at apex curved upwards, internodes 0.65-1.8 cm long. Leaf lanceolate, erect-patent, carnose, convex, with brown dots on both sides; apex obliquely obtuse; base sub-petiolate; lamina 0.65-1.5 cm long, 0.23-0.3 cm wide; sheath tight, tubular, prominently ribbed, warty; apex toothed, with bristled margin, bristles 1-2 mm long. Inflorescences terminal, one-flowered, when young enveloped by a spathe. Spathe oblong-oval, sparsely punctate, finely warty in front, 5-nerved, 0.8-0.91 cm long, 0.56 cm wide; apex acute; floral bract transparent, oval to rounded, 1-nerved, 0.56-0.64 cm long, 0.37 cm wide; apex minutely apiculate. Flower upright, glabrous, up to 1.1 cm long. Median sepal elliptic oblong, 3-nerved, 0.8 cm long, 0.4 cm wide; apex broadly obtuse, apiculate. Lateral sepal oblong to obliquely oblong, slightly falcate, 3-nerved, 0.82-0.95 cm long, 0.21-0.38 cm wide; apex broadly obtuse, long apiculate; base slightly narrowed, shortly connate, rounded, concave, enclosing the spur. Petal obliquely obovate-oblong, 3-nerved, 0.8-0.84 cm long, 0.27-0.4 cm wide; apex obtuse, base shortly spathulate-contracted. Lip ovate-triangular, indistinctly 3-lobed, 0.375-0.45 cm long, 0.42 cm wide; epichile obtuse, with brown glands; hypochile thickened, 7-9-nerved, spurred; spur pointing backward, oblong, slightly dorsally compressed, obtuse, 0.3-0.45 cm long. Column glabrous, with column foot, 1.7-2 mm long; apex broadly obtuse, recurved; clinandrium deeply concave, with wavy margins, bilobulate; stelidia subulate, toothed; rostellum porrect, divided into two broad, obliquely quadrangular lobes; stigma two-lipped, extended lower margin, recurved, rounded. Anther ca. 1 mm wide; apex obtuse, abruptly recurved, obtusely 2 lobulate; pollinia 4, pear-shaped, compressed laterally, obtuse or subtruncate, outside convex, inside flat with a longitudinal groove, ca. 0.5 mm long; rostelllum  porrect, divided into 2 broad, obliquely quadrangular lobes; viscidium not seen. Ovary subcylindric, 3-ribbed, glabrous, 0.65-0.68 cm long. Capsule not seen.

Distribution – Indonesia, Papua New Guinea.

Habitat and Ecology – Epiphyte in mountain forest of Mt. Wichmann, Mt. Doorman, Mt. Kajan and Lake Habbema.  Altitude 2730-3400 m. Flowering in October in the wild.

Notes -  1. Flowers white with small black streak on the tip of the lip and a yellowish anther.

3. The epithet pullei refers to the collector of the holotype, August Adriaan Pulle.
