Growth form Epiphyte, up to 60 cm high. Rhizome thin, rooting, 0.175 cm in diameter. Root filiform, flexible, glabrous. Stem dependent, long, thin, cylindrical, entirely covered with leaf sheaths, proliferously leafed, branches patent, apex winding up, flexible, 0.1-0.2 cm in diameter, internodes 0.25 cm long, decreasing in the upper part. Leaf patent to erect-patent, recurved, narrowly linear, when dry margin incurved, subcylindrical, when soaked semi-cylindrical, channeled, obtuse, with sparse black dots, base narrowed; lamina 2.5-3.4 cm long, 0.125-0.15 cm wide; sheath tubular, longer than internodes, with longitudinal prominent nerves, especially in the nerves with inconspicuous warts; apex toothed, with bristled margin, bristles 0.075 cm long. Inflorescences one-flowered, terminal, nutant, when young enveloped by a spathe. Spathe tight, base shortly tubular, dorsal side with prominent nerve and punctate, warty, when flattened ovate, acute, 1.5 cm long, 0.775 wide; floral bracts prominent nerves, more punctate, 1.5 cm long. Flower upright, conspicous. Median sepal only partly observed, convex, 0.4 cm wide. Lateral sepal base shortly connate, front margin covering the spur, oblique, oblong, obtuse, concave, dilated 0.5 cm long, oblique linear-lanceolate, shortly acute apiculate-acuminate, convex, upper margin incurved concave, 3-nerved, outer nerves branched, 1.64 cm long, front margin 2 cm long, 0.375 cm wide. Petal recurved, oblique subrhombic-lanceolate, narrowed obtuse, 3-nerved, outer nerves branched, 1.7 cm long, 0.475 cm wide. Lip base adnate to the column, twice as long as the column, concave, apex slightly recurved, 7-nerved, when flattened subrhombic, free part quinquingular, with transversely thickened semi-crescent convex keel, total 0.7 cm long, free part 0.5 cm long, 0.4 cm wide; epichile apex contracted rounded; hypochile spurred; spur appressed against the ovary, straight, thin, linear, dorsally compressed, obtuse, dorsally longitudinally channeled, 1.1 cm long. Column front for two fifth adnate to the lip, slightly obtuse-angled incurved, dorsally convex, without anther 0.4 cm long; clinandrium conspicuous, reflexed, semi-orbicular, winged, rounded-crenulate-dentate. Anther not seen; rostellum porrect, wide, rounded-cutout, acute 2-toothed; stigma prominent, with rostellum sub-orbicular concave, margin elevated. Ovary with triangular pedicel, furrowed-angled, laterally concave, 1.2 cm long. Capsule not seen.
Distribution – Indonesia, Seram.
Habitat and Ecology - Epiphyte in montane forest on limestone of Mt. Murkele. Altitude 1900-2500 m. Flowering in July in the wild.
