Growth form Epiphyte, almost shrub-like, branched, stout, erect, 30- 45 cm high. Rhizome not seen. Roots filiform, long, flexible, glabrous. Stem thinly cylindrical, proliferously leafed, completely covered by leaf sheaths. Leaf  elliptic or ovate-elliptic, patent, margins recurved, subserrate-rough; apex strongly unequally 2-lobed, both lobes obtuse; base rounded; lamina 1.5-2.7 cm long, 0.8-1.1 cm wide; sheath tubular, densely warty; apex toothed, with bristled margin. Inflorescences terminal, one-flowered, when young enveloped by a spathe. Spathe tubular, densely warty, ca. 1.25 cm long; floral bracts transparent, thin. Flowers upside-down or upright. Median sepal oblong-ligulate, apex obtuse, 2.3 cm long. Lateral sepals oblique, at base along the front margin, dilated. Petal narrowly and obliquely ligulate, apex obtuse, hardly narrowed towards the base, ca. 2.3 cm long. Lips broadly subreniform-rhombic, 0.5 cm long, 0.6 cm wide;  epichile indistinctly 3-lobulate, obtuse; hypochile with crescent-shaped, transverse, inconspicuous callus, spurred; spur narrowly cylindrical, appressed the ovary, apex rather obtuse, 2.2 cm long. Column short; stigma large; clinandrium widened, obtuse, densely denticulate; stelidia not seen. Anther not seen; rostellum not seen; pollinia not seen; viscidium absent. Ovary sessile, cylindrical, glabrous, 2.5 cm long. Capsule not seen.

Distribution –Papua New Guinea.

Habitat and Ecology - Epiphyte in montane forest. Altitude 1400-1500 m. Flowering season not known.

Notes -  1. Flowers light brown colored.

2. The epithet  fusca refers to the brown color of the flower (fuscus meansdark-brown in Latin).

3. Specimen observed: none (no drawing or herbarium specimens found).
