Growth form Epiphyte, up to 5.5 cm high. Rhizome not seen. Roots filiform, long,  flexible, glabrous. Stem  closely spaced, compressed, completely covered by leaf sheaths, internodes 0.2-0.5 cm long, Leaf patent, ovate-lanceolate, midrib grooved above, slightly prominent below, above on either side of the midrib convex, furfuraceous-finely punctate, thickly coriaceous; apex unequal 2-lobed, longer lobe obtuse, shorter acute, in apical part with irregular margins; base shortly contracted; lamina 1.4-2.7 cm long, 0.33-0.68 cm wide; sheath longer than internodes, tubular, compressed; apex toothed or without tooth, with bristled margin, bristles 0.2-0.26 cm long. Inflorescences terminal, one-flowered, when young enveloped by a spathe. Spathe clasping the ovary, laxly appressed, tubular, membranous, prominent nerves, warty, punctate, suborbicular, retuse, apex obtusely apiculate, 0.43 cm long; floral bracts subulate-apiculate, 0.4 cm long. Flowers upright or upside-down, glabrous. Median sepal oblong, 3-nerved, apex obtuse, conical-apiculate, 0.7 cm long, 0.25 cm wide. Lateral sepals obliquely oblong-ovate, slightly falcate, somewhat dilated at base, equaling the spur, 3-nerved,  apex obtuse, apiculate, 0.53 cm long, 0.25 cm wide. Petal cuneate-spathulate-obovate, 3-nerved, apex rounded, 0.57 cm long, 0.28 cm wide. Lip broadly rhombic, base adnate to the column, 0.43 cm long, 0.33 cm wide, 7-nerved, concave,  7-angular, 0.3 cm long, free part 5-angular, 0.25 cm long, ; epichile obtuse, with brown glands; hypochile spurred; spur pointing backwards, appressed to the ovary, making an obtuse angle with the blade, apex slightly recurved, conical, obtuse, 0.14 cm long. Column dorsally convex, apex slightly contracted, 0.24 cm long, apex broadly obtusely triangular; clinandrium crenulate; stelidia not seen. Anther cucullate, broadly ovate, 0.1 cm wide, high conical, apex prolonged into a rounded, slightly recurved beak; rostellum truncate, ribbed above; stigma with lower margin raised; pollinia 4, pear-shaped; viscidium absent. Ovary 6-grooved, sparsely punctate above, 0.45 cm long. Capsule not seen.

Distribution –Indonesia.

Habitat and Ecology - Epiphyte in montane forest. Altitude 1100 m. Flowering in June in the wild.

Notes -  1. Flowers white.

2. The epithet  dubia refers to  the uncertain classification according to J.J. Smith of this species.
