Growth form Epiphyte, up to 12 cm long. Rhizome not seen. Roots filiform, flexible, glabrous. Stem in cross-section elliptic, becoming branched with age, proliferously leafed, completely covered by leaf sheaths, internodes 0.7-0.8 cm long, 0.2 cm wide. Leaf narrowly lanceolate, patent, punctate on both sides, whole margin irregularly erose, mid-rib grooved above, slightly prominent below, leathery, gradually narrowed towards the apex; apex conduplicate, somewhat unequal or almost equally minutely 2-lobed, both lobes obtuse; lamina 3.35-4 cm long, 0.65-0.7 cm wide; sheath tubular, longer than internodes, in cross-section elliptic, towards apex finely warty, punctate, 0.25 cm wide; apex with tooth, with glabrous margin. Inflorescences terminal, 9-flowered, capitate, nodding, when young enveloped by a spathe. Spathe strongly concave-cucullate, partly acuminate, sparsely punctate; floral bracts transparent, thin, orbicular-elliptic or subovate, obtuse or slightly acuminate, cucullate, 3-nerved, membranous, 0.8-1.1 cm long, 0.6-0.85 cm wide. Flowers upright, glabrous, 1.1 cm long. Median sepal ovate-elliptic, apex recurved, obtuse, dorsally near the apex with laterally compressed thickening, at base for 0.18 cm adnate to the lateral sepals, basal part concave, 3-nerved, 0.68 cm long, 0.38 cm wide. Lateral sepals in front highly connate, half-clasping the ovary, enveloping the spur of the lip, free part obliquely ovate-triangular, obtuse, apiculate, at back 0.3 cm , in front 0.53 cm long, 0.4 cm wide; mentum pointing backwards, saccate, broadly obtuse, at apex on either side concave-sunken, at base with two convex inflated parts, 0.35 cm long, slightly over 0.4 cm wide. Petal subrhombic-oblong, obtuse, 3-nerved, 0.63 cm long, 0.28 cm wide. Lip at base shortly adnate to the column, to apex of the ovary 0.3 cm long, to apex of the spur 0.6 cm long, blade recurved, porrect, concave, when flattened transversely rectangular, truncate, 0.23 cm long, 0.63 cm wide; epichile truncate, obtusely apiculate; hypochile abruptly thickened, spurred; spur making acute angle with ovary, oblong, obtuse, dorsally near the base with conspicuous, deeply concave dent, 0.43 cm long. Column dorsally convex, apex broadly triangular, obtuse, 0.25 cm long, the base for 0.1 cm adnate to the lip; clinandrium not seen; stelidia not seen. Anther cucullate, transversely elliptic, 0.15 cm wide, connective gibbose; rostellum prominent, broad, truncate; pollinia not seen; stigma orbicular, with lower margin, strongly dilated but much shorter than the rostellum; viscidium not seen. Ovary cylindrical, slightly falcate, 6-ribbed, including short and thinner pedicel 0.5 cm long. Capsule not seen.

Distribution – Indonesia.

Habitat and Ecology - Epiphyte in the upper montane forest. Altitude 2000 m. Flowering in December in the wild.

Notes - 1. Flowers white with carmine red colored tip of the lip and black anther.
