Growth form Epiphyte. Rhizome not seen. Roots long, filiform, flexible, glabrous. Stem branched, slender, in cross section elliptic, proliferously leafed, completely covered by leaf sheaths, internodes towards base narrower, 0.2-0.4 cm long, up to 0.15 cm wide. Leaf ovate-oblong, above concave, longitudinally grooved, thickly carnose; apex unequally 2-lobed, both lobes obtuse; lamina 1-1.2 cm long, 0.47-0.6 cm wide; sheath tubular, tight, in cross section elliptic, warty; apex toothed or without tooth, with bristled margin. Inflorescences terminal, very short, one-flowered, when young enveloped by a spathe. Spathe inflated-tubular, warty, 0.65 cm long; floral bracts not seen. Flowers upright or upside down, fleshy, 0.8 cm in diameter. Median sepal ovate, widely patent, apex obtuse, apiculate, convex, 3-nerved at base, 0.53 cm long, 0.3 cm wide. Lateral sepals reflexed, obliquely ovate, slightly falcate, apex obtuse, long apiculate, base obliquely dilated, above strongly convex, front margins not touching, base 3-nerved, 0.47 cm long. Petal cuneate-obovate, subobcordate, minutely apiculate, strongly convex, base 3-nerved, 0.47 cm long, 0.35 cm wide. Lip basal part adnate to the column, 0.48 cm long, concave, carnose, 0.17 cm long, when not flattened 0.2 cm wide; epichile somewhat recurved, obtuse, papillose; hypochile thickened, with prominent transverse ridge, spurred; spur dorsally straight, in front convex, apex broadly retuse-bilobed, 0.26 cm long, 0.18 cm wide. Column basal part adnate to the lip, 0.23 cm long; clinandrium crenulate; stelidia not seen. Anther depressed-cucullate, transversely ovate-elliptic, rounded, margin translucent, 0.13 cm wide; pollinia 4, obovoid, outside convex, inside flat, with a longitudinal groove; rostellum large, broad; stigma transverse, lower margin elongated, semiorbicular, surpassing the rostellum; viscidium not seen. Ovary twisted, 6-grooved, minutely warty-punctate, 0.55 cm long. Capsule not seen.
Distribution –Indonesia.
Habitat and Ecology - Epiphyte in lowland forest. Altitude 0 m. Flowering in September in the wild.
